NICHOLAS AIR helps raise funds for MS Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks

NICHOLAS AIR donated a 5-hour jet card as an auction item during the 2015 Mississippi Governor’s Hunt. The Governor’s Hunt is an annual event that started 9 years ago, and is held by The Foundation for Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MWFP). The event is a weekend of hunting for Governor Phil Bryant and other Mississippi sportsmen who share the same love for the outdoors in Mississippi.

Funds raised at the Governor’s Hunt help the Foundation (MWFP) make important contributions towards the backing of many endeavors throughout the state. The Archery in Mississippi Schools (AIMS) Program, the Foundation Scholarship Program, the Black Bear Tracking Program, and the Spring Gobbler Hunting Survey are only a few examples of how MWFP is supporting the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks projects.

The Foundation’s CEO Billy Redd states, “The Foundation continues to fund projects for MDWFP and is excited about adding projects every year. The Foundation is proud to partner with MDWFP to preserve our hunting and fishing resources for current and future generations.”
