NICHOLAS AIR benefits Mosaic of South Africa Charity
NICHOLAS AIR donated a silent auction item to raise money benefiting Mosaic of South Africa, a self sustainable orphan care model that includes housing, educating, and employing families caring for orphans of the AIDS epidemic in the townships of South Africa.
The fundraising effort is going directly to the building and staffing fund of Naledi Primary School, in the township of Ikageng. It is the first and only school available to the children of the townships that offers them a proper international school education and the chance to receive matriculate and university opportunities. Education is the only means to change their destiny and the 100 students enrolled today in the school have proven they are eager and committed to do so.
With NICHOLAS AIR’s donation, phase two of the school will begin this fall to grow and expand to serve 350 students. Nelson Mandela, an inspiration for the school, reminds us “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.”
