Position Overview

NICHOLAS AIR is looking for a full-time Corporate Trainer to join our team with the primary task of expanding upon NICHOLAS AIR Academy, our corporate training and resource department for all employees. The role encompasses both the technical training of the office staff, new employee training, NICHOLAS AIR service standards introduction, and recurring training elements specific to each role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with each department head to learn the various software elements and business practices to be taught to all new hires
  • Work with Operations leadership to reinforce seasonal elements that may affect the overall flight operation
  • Grow the NICHOLAS AIR library and research market information to create a repository of case studies and learning material
  • Create new training materials by department

Description

The Director of Maintenance is responsible for the operation and management of the 145 Repair station and its personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support on a variety of tasks
  • Develops and recommends procedures and methods, and prepares technical reports and documentation
  • Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective action
  • Represents Nicholas Air as one company internally and externally with industry groups and regulatory bodies
  • Leads the development, communication, and implementation of efficient operational procedures, policies, and effective growth strategies for the department
  • Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship as liaison between company, clients, and the FAA with responsibility for the company’s issued maintenance certificates and signing of correspondence

  • Provides the Director of Operations with the current airworthiness status of aircraft under the Part 91 and Part 135 fleet, forecasting downtimes to facilitate maintenance scheduling at optimal times and ensure timely deferral or correction of aircraft discrepancies
  • Coordinates with senior management, officers, and owners on matters related to business operations
  • The VP of Maintenance may delegate some of these duties, but retains overall responsibility

Minimum Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience within general aviation maintenance operations, including Part 135, and equivalent operational experience to include familiarity with aircraft maintenance scheduling, team management, and customer relations
  • 5+ years in Supervisor or Management role
  • Must have knowledge of, and maintain a current file of all applicable FARs
  • Comprehensive understanding of aviation industry
  • Experience managing mixed-level team members of professionals and managers

The aircraft maintenance technician must have experience on 2 of the 5 airframes:

Perform inspections as required by the FAA in a FAR 145 environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Fully analyzes all required manuals, blueprints, drawings, and work orders to troubleshoot, repair, and install desired product or part. Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels. Plans/schedules items to maintain on-time departures. Inspects all mechanical components prior to installation for proper certs and/or shipping/warehouse damage to ensure serviceability. Accurately estimates hours and materials for scheduled jobs. Work Environment

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

To work as a member of the MRT MRO team focused on maintenance activities and work scope of customer aircraft. Identify and correct issues for malfunctioning aircraft mechanical components and systems. Perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on jet and turboprop aircraft and assist with scheduling and coordination for other crew members. Will help coordinate and communicate aircraft issues with the customer to include reviewing the work scope with customers, adding squawks as required, respond to customer inquiries and be responsible for assuring customer satisfaction by coordinating with MRO team. Will help oversee the maintenance of the MRT by ensuring vehicle is properly serviced and roadworthy at all times.

Travel

This position requires up to 80 percent travel, including weekends and holidays, overnight travel is expected. Responsible for AOG events and approvals in the United States. Must have a clean driving record.

Position Overview

This position requires the individual to assess the cabins of aircraft upon arrival and determine restoration needs. Evaluates condition of seats, carpet, side rails, cabinets and other areas of ware. Is responsible for restoring cabins to service ready conditions. Position Overview

NICHOLAS AIR is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team! This position will be responsible for effectively organizing company aircraft to maximize utility and serve our customer needs. You will also ensure that both the current and any upcoming trips are assigned in aircraft to meet the expectations of the scheduled trip. Additionally, this position is responsible for minimizing delays, while making decisions to ensure a high level of utilization.   • Provide solutions for current and upcoming operations regarding trip assignments and provide solutions to the Flight Scheduler Supervisor
